Our work OYNB
One Year No Beer (OYNB) is an online global behaviour change programme and community, aimed at anyone drinking more than 3 glasses of wine a week. The health-tech start up helps people change their relationship with alcohol, leading to most people fundamentally transforming their lives.
With over 80,000 members across 90 countries, their community is huge (and growing constantly), and provides a real support net for people aiming to become the best, healthiest version of themselves through improving their wellness and life, just as founder Ruari Fairbairns did.
Ambition
With his compelling personal and professional journey to creating OYNB, Four Marketing Agency was engaged to raise Ruari’s profile as an influential tech entrepreneur, positioning him as a true inspiration and thought leader, while creating a strategy for the business profiling (B2C and B2B) plus support with engaging and growing the existing community.
Action
Four drove a PR campaign that championed OYNB, and Ruari’s personal and business journey and achievements, as a means to support people to transform their relationship with alcohol, while highlighting the importance of mental health and wellbeing.
We utilised survey data to create some hard-hitting headlines which resonated with audiences, with commentary and interviews from Ruari, his views on topical current affairs and how to improve wellness through a better understanding of one’s relationship with alcohol.
Result
Since working proactively with Four Marketing Agency, Ruari has been selected to feature in the Government-led GREAT Inspirations campaign, was named Great British Entrepreneur of the Year for Scotland and Northern Ireland Entrepreneur two years running and he also won The Spectator Economic Innovator of the Year.
Four also achieved an enviable range of targeted coverage across print, broadcast and online media, plus podcasts and personal appearances across the UK. These include the Financial News, I Paper, Sunday Express, The Guardian, The National, The Scotsman, The Spectator, The Sunday Post, The Telegraph, Scottish Business Insider, Talk Radio and Virgin Radio UK.
Four Media Group have been amazing to work with. After having been recommended Pam & her team by several people, we began working together in the early stages of the pandemic. The team went above and beyond from day one, helping us to launch a last-minute campaign that saw 7k new members sign up as well as awards and recognition for OYNB off the back of the activity. Additionally, Four Media Group had a huge role in improving our brand awareness, reputation and helping us achieve our crowdfunding campaign investment targets. Honest, transparent and hardworking - it doesn't get much better!
