Our work Hopetoun Fireworks
The Hopetoun Fireworks and Bonfire Night, We Will Rock You edition is a spectacular event designed and produced by 21CC Group Ltd, a Scottish-based event management company, established in 1999. They work with some of the industry’s leading clients and service providers to produce events, experiences and enhance visitor attractions around the country for corporate groups, festivals, local authorities and private clients.
Ambition
Four Marketing Agency was approached by 21CC Group in August 2022 to promote the return of this much-loved event after a short hiatus due to Covid, set in the beautiful grounds of the Hopetoun House Estate. We were engaged to support with strategic communications, drive awareness of the event among key target audiences and, ultimately, help drive ticket sales.
Action
Four developed a creative media, influencer and social media strategy to build excitement about the return of this event, this time bigger and better than ever before. On the run-up to Hopetoun Fireworks and Bonfire night, we ran a detailed programme of proactive media relations, secured attendance from key media and influencer contacts and developed a series of engaging social media posts which would drive increased online engagement.
Result
By targeting regional and local audiences we achieved coverage with an opportunity to view of over 36,965,000 which included standout pieces of press featuring in the Daily Record, Edinburgh Live and Edinburgh Evening News. As a result of press coverage and social media engagement, ticket sales surpassed all expectations and were entirely sold out weeks before the event.
Working with a team who fully understands your goals and vision is absolutely key to the success of a project such as this. Four Media Group worked as a genuine extension of our team, ensuring the event was promoted across exactly the right channels and most importantly to the audiences we were targeting. They were brilliant to work with, well-versed in the Scottish media landscape and truly creative communicators. Their work undoubtedly contributed to the successful sell-out of this event.
