Hard Rock International is one of the most globally recognised companies with venues in over 70 countries spanning 265 locations. Hard Rock has since expanded from restaurants to hotels, casinos, live music and alcohol. Hard Rock’s ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails were launched internationally for the first time in 2022, and Four Marketing Agency were appointed by Stewart’s Enterprise to promote the launch of this product in the UK, specifically to a trade audience.
Ambition
Stewart’s Enterprise approached Four Marketing Agency, inviting them to deliver a targeted campaign to promote the expansion of their Hard Rock Expert Cocktails into the UK. The objective was to target relevant UK trade media to highlight the iconic brand’s first ever international distribution of its ready-to-drink canned cocktails.
Action
To get the message out about the RTD cocktails expanding in the UK, Four invited key media to join them at the Hard Rock pop up bar and shop at BST Hyde Park where they could be some of the first in the UK to sample the drinks. A press communication was also shared with relevant media contacts, which was then sold in to key contacts. Samples of the cocktails were also mailed out so journalists could try the drinks for themselves.
Result
Four Marketing Agency successfully secured over 10 pieces of coverage to promote the launch of the RTD canned cocktails in the UK. Notable publications included: The Grocer, Drinks Retailing News, Retail Times, and Convenience Store. This resulted in over 1 million opportunities to view, with further coverage pending in leading trade and London titles.
